ABOUT PLISKOVA TENNIS ACADEMY

Karolina Pliskova, her twin sister Kristyna, and their team had the idea to establish an academy that would help young players to develop their skills and abilities to be- come future professionals. Both sisters have been active in professional tennis environment for many years and aim to share their hands-on experience with young players.

Since its opening in 2020, the academy has a clear vision to create a professional tennis environment for players across the world. The academy aims to offer the best training conditions possible for players to enhance their performance and reach their highest potential. Not only that, the academy is the place where players prepare for tournaments under the supervision of a team coaches that is composed of former WTA and ATP players as well as coaches of the Czech national tennis teams. Players can train the optimal number of tennis training, find challenges and train with adequate sparring partners or dedicate their time to fitness and recovery. All in one place - in Pliskova Tennis Academy.

The programs offered in the academy are focused on all aspects of the player. The main priority is to create tailored programs for players’ needs to improve their tennis, athletics, and mental skills and prepare them for the tournaments. Each player has a coach who oversees their development in both, long-term and short-term runs.

The academy operates two facilities, one of which is located close to the city center of Prague, Prague 8, Karlin. The second site is located near Prague, in Ricany. The academy in Ricany has 8 outdoor clay courts, 6 indoor courts, a beach volleyball court, newly built fitness, and an outdoor pool.

Nutrition

At Pliskova Tennis Academy, the nutrition for academy players is ensured. In the club restaurant, players can choose all kinds of healthy meals and snacks during the day.
Both sites are located in an area, where there are countless supermarkets and other restaurants.

Accommodation

At Pliskova Tennis Academy – Ricany, the accommodation is in the form of adouble or triple bedrooms located right next to the courts.

Transportation

The academy provides a transport service from/to the nearest airport upon request.

College Placement

By partnering with Stipendia v USA, the agency that provides a college placement, the academy helps players receive scholarships and attend the university that best fits their goals. As a part of the college admission process, the academy can provide SAT and TOEFL tutoring.
