Ethics codex

  • Coach aims to be a role model to his players on and outside of the court.
  • The coach must honor an ethical code of conduct, he or she does not use any vulgarism.
  • Coach strives for the maximum development of the player, regardless of socio-economic status or level of the game.
  • The coach does not criticize other coaches in public and aims to be loyal not only to them but also to the academy. Different views or attitudes are discussed in person or at the team meeting.
  • Coach spreads a good name for the academy.
  • Coaches aim to do the job to their best ability.
  • Coach strives for continuous self-improvement.
  • Coach aims to create a friendly atmosphere on and off the courts, in which players as well as colleagues will feel comfortable. The coach always addresses his requests, questions, and ideas directly to the head coach, who then consults such requests with the academy management.
  • The coach does not train with players outside the academy without permission from a head coach.
  • The coach does not train in other clubs without the head coach’s permission. The coach makes sure that the players respect the ethical code of conduct.
  • Coach tries to have a moral effect on players to raise them not only as good tennis players but above all as decent people with a fair-play attitude.
  • The coach does not differentiate between his players and players of other coaches. If he can, he supports all players.
  • The coach may use a mobile phone during class if necessary only for purposes related to tennis.
